Why use Temporary Fencing?

As reputable temporary fencing suppliers Integrated Fencing, we aim to be involved with the client very early on in the project.

The first consideration on a project is to make the site safe and to prevent the public from entering the site. Construction sites will often have hundreds of thousands of pounds of assets on site requiring temporary security fencing, and the question for our clients is ‘how can integrated fencing help protect these assets best?’

With over 50 years combined experience in the fencing industry we can offer:

  • Timber Hoarding
  • Steel Hoarding
  • Recycled Composite Hoarding

After you have chosen which portable fencing system will suit you best, all our systems can be excavated into concrete foundations the traditional method, or maybe if you have underground services then we can also surface mount the system onto concrete Kentledge Blocks.

INTEGRATED FENCING AND GRAPHICS

Many of our clients ask whether we can supply and install Graphics to our Hoarding and the answer is, yes, we can!! We’re pleased to announce that we have partnered with Ministry of Graphics who are market leaders in the world of Graphics, they have the software to design your concept and then print direct to our Hoarding boards.

So, you can rest assured you can have your ideal concept printed directly through Integrated Fencing!

Benefits of Timber Hoarding

  • Uses relatively inexpensive materials
  • Easy to customise and adapt
  • Straightforward installation
  • Eco-friendly materials
  • Easy to take down and move
  • Gates and barriers easily incorporated

Compared with steel hoarding, a temporary timber barrier fence is relatively inexpensive. This does mean that without proper care, it can degrade quicker than metal hoarding, but for a one-off project it is normally the preferred option.

Timber hoarding is also much easier to adapt for site fencing and customise to the contours. Often a saw is just about the only thing needed to make changes.

Uses for Timber Hoarding

This type of temporary wood fence has limitless applications due to its adaptability. We have installed our fencing systems in:

  • Construction temporary fencing

.The solid nature of the system means that passers-by are protected from the danger of dust particles, debris and materials. They also prevent people being able to see into a site, they deter criminals from attempting entry.

  • Waste disposal facilities

Many waste disposal facilities use solid panel fencing to prevent waste products from being blown away from the disposal area. This can be for smaller areas like community bins right through to commercial dumping and recycling facilities.

  • Sports Grounds and Sporting Events

Solid timber hoarding is often used in places like cricket and baseball facilities where an overshot might put passers-by in danger of being struck by a loose ball. They are also used in situations where organisers want to restrict sight of a sporting event to paying customers only.

  • Empty Buildings

With an increasing number of empty shops and buildings around town centres, timber hoarding is in great demand to protect them from break-ins, vandalism, and the potential for squatters to take over the premises.

Supply and Installation of Wooden Hoarding by Integrated Fencing

Integrated Fencing offer a free initial site survey and consultation. Our designers can design your temporary wood fence system to consider wind loading calculations, any design factors such as logos and graphics that you would like printed on the hoarding and whether there are any underground services that dictate how the system is mounted.

Our Types of Temporary Fencing

View our range of temporary fencing solutions below.

TIMBER HOARDING

Our Timber Hoarding is designed to meet your temporary fencing site requirements. We are often asked to design the concept in-house which would involve us carrying necessary wind calculation loading for the posts and foundations.

The posts can either be buried into concrete foundations or if underground services are an issue, then we can surface mount our system.

We also have the software to design your concept and then print your graphics direct to our hoarding.

As a leading temporary fencing company, we can manufacture a variety of swing gates to match your requirement.

STEEL HOARDING

Our Steel Panel Hoarding Fencing is very popular for most applications ranging from residential, education, and commercial.

The Steel Hoarding system is extremely popular as it costs slightly more than a Timber Hoarding however it will outlast a Timber Hoarding system by approximately 5 years if it’s maintained. We even offer a take down and re-install service so you have peace of mind that we can move your hoarding from site to site.

You would expect payback on this system within two years! Our Steel Hoarding is painted in a range of standard RAL colours.

As a leading temporary fence installer, we can also manufacture and install gates in various sizes to match your Hoarding.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE TO SAY

Morgan Sindall have undertaken a number of contracts where Integrated Fencing, have been appointed to deliver security fencing, gates and hoarding works to our sites. We have always found them to be helpful throughout the project phases, whether this be the early stages tenders, through on-going design development and right up to completion and handover. The whole ethos of all Integrated Fencing staff aligns closely with our values as a business and as such, Integrated Fencing have recently been awarded our Sub-Contractor of the Year Award for 2020 for their consistent high performance. We would have no issues in recommending Integrated Fencing to anyone that is looking for first-class fencing contractor.   2021

Integrated Fencing the successful contractor, their tender was within budget and we were fully aware of their experience in the fencing industry and their pro-active approach.

Their directors visited the site to attend meetings to help us with the design of the system which was first class.
We would highly recommend We look forward to working with them on future projects
.

It did not go unnoticed that you were put in a very difficult predicament by the failings of our ground works contractor but despite this, you and your team stuck at it working late nights and weekends to help us achieve the completion date. It’s very rare to see a Managing Director rolling his sleeves up to help his team out but you did this on numerous occasions in atrocious weather conditions and on weekends and for this we cannot thank you enough.

This leads me on to your site team who worked extremely close with our site team for the duration of the project and despite the extreme weather and ground conditions they simply got on with it. They’re attitude and willingness to complete the job in hand is fantastic, this together with the standard of work produced all makes for a winning team.

I have worked with numerous quality men over the last 30 years, and this has to be up there as one of the best. Please pass on our thanks to your team. Thanks again for your efforts on the project and we wish you every success in the future and hope your business grows. It has been a pleasure working with you on YGGT and we look forward to the prospect of working with you in the near future.
