Metal hoarding panels are solid metal panels for situations that require either extra protection for passers by or the additional security provided when a boundary fence prevents people being able to see inside the perimeter.

STABILITY

Our solid steel hoarding panels are mounted on tube and joined together using anti-tamper couplers. We always do a comprehensive site survey before installing metal hoarding. This is to carry out wind resistance calculations and locate the presence of any underground services.

We would normally use the traditional method of securing the hoardings in a concrete foundation. This keeps them firmly in place and resistant to high winds and adverse weather. In cases where there are underground services we use a surface mounted Kentledge block system or we can offer a tray mounted system stacked and weighed down with loose blocks.

FLEXIBLE

As a temporary perimeter, steel hoarding is ideal. It is relatively easy to install and to take down and move. Gates and pedestrian access can be incorporated into the system. We can paint our hoardings to any colour on the RAL chart to incorporate company branding, logos and even advertising.

COST-EFFECTIVE

Being more robust and weather resistant than timber hoarding, it is expected that galvanised steel hoarding panels will outlast timber by 5 years or more. They are delivered to site ready painted, meaning that they are weatherproof from the outset. This makes them much more cost-effective because they can be taken down and moved to a new location many times before renewal is required. Because t We estimate that initial outlay is recovered within 2 years.

SECURE

When it is not desirable that prying eyes can observe what is going on beyond a perimeter, the solid nature of metal hoarding provides that extra level of privacy. In-fills can be added between panels and also skirts at the bottom for complete privacy and security. There are a range of anti-climb accessories that can be installed to make steel hoarding even more secure.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

In situations where a mesh fence is simply not enough to protect the safety of people passing by, Local Authorities will often stipulate a solid panel perimeter before giving permission to proceed with a project. Normally this would be where the perimeter of a site is close to a pavement or roadway. Steel hoarding panels offer protection from dust, debris and falling materials.
