Nottingham High Security Unit – Case Study
Integrated Fencing were awarded a high profile project at a Nottingham high security unit. The project involved the upgrading of a 2.4m high standard fence with a 5m high security, 358 anti-climb system. The existing security fence at the unit was installed over 20 years ago and was in a poor state offering little or no security. A new system had to be in place before the client could go from a Category 2 to Category 3 unit.

DP World, Security Gates
New 70,000 sq ft warehouse DP World, London Gateway Logistics Park. DP World is the UK’s most integrated logistics hub, which comprises a state-of-the-art deep-sea port and rail terminal on an expansive land bank. Integrated Fencing worked with Readie Construction Ltd to help construct this new facility, installing the security fencing & gates, street furniture and Automatic gates with access control. Working alongside SGP architects our brief was to assist with the design of a fully integrated system that would cater for the clients needs.

Glynneath Rugby Club
Integrated Fencing were contacted by Glynneath RFC for advice on a system at the rugby club. A meeting was arranged at the club to ascertain the issues they were experiencing and how we could assist them.
The consultation was initiated by Simon Knoyle QS SAK Ltd who is also Secretary of the rugby club and a respected local Councillor.

Gas Peaking Power Plant, Ebbw Vale
Wilson Stone Contracting Ltd are specialist contractors to the energy sector.
Integrated Fencing were approached by Wilson Stone Contracting Ltd regarding a project in South Wales that they were let down on by another contractor. The project included the design, build and energisation of a 20MW gas peaking power plant in Ebbw Vale, South Wales. The five-month project was connected to Western Power Distribution (WPD) network in February 2021. The complete project involved full civil and electrical design, procurement of electrical equipment for the private network, construction of the gas peaking power plant, installation of switchgear, transformers and generators, and final testing of all components prior to energisation.

Lords Cricket Ground, Picket Fence
January 2020 Integrated Fencing solutions were approached by WilkinsonEyre to supply and install a white picket fence to a certain design. The design needed to keep to Lord’s cricket club’s heritage.
The Client ISG gave Integrated Fencing a brief. ISG is a global construction specialist delivering where places and people thrive. We were awarded this project from ISG to design, supply and install the fencing to meet specification, design and budget.

Merthyr Bus Station, Guard Railings
Morgan Sindall approached Integrated Fencing to aide in the design, supply and installation specifically for the pedestrian guard rail which had to take crowd loading and the vehicle barriers which were required to protect the public from the buses and be able to take the impact of a bus travelling at 30mph. We met up several times with the projects team to discuss the requirements. After several meetings it was concluded that the pedestrian barrier needed to meet P4 type guard rail and the vehicle barrier needed to comply with N2W4 for road restraint systems.
